Shelby Estocado is the epitome of grit, determination, and adaptability. Her list of accomplishments is nothing short of incredible. Since 2021, Shelby has been making waves in sports, showcasing her talent and dedication across multiple disciplines.
A Champion in Every Arena
From dominating the WheelWod CrossFit Games as the 3rd Fittest on Earth in 2022 to securing 1st place at Wodapalooza Wild Card the same year, Shelby’s versatility and competitive edge are unmatched. She has also made a name for herself on the slopes, excelling at the Huntsman Para Alpine Championships and the US/Canada Para Alpine Ski Nationals in 2023 and 2024. Notably, she claimed 3rd place in the Super G at the Winter Park Open and competed in adaptive surfing, placing 3rd at the Women on Waves Surf Competition in Santa Cruz.
In 2024, Shelby’s growth as an athlete reached new heights, with standout performances in para alpine skiing, adaptive surfing, and even a newfound passion, powerlifting. With her eyes set on joining Team USA for the LA 2028 Summer Paralympics, Shelby has already begun building the foundation for success in this new endeavor.


The Road Ahead
Shelby’s journey doesn’t stop here. Her sights are firmly set on competing at the 2026 Paralympic Winter Games in Italy. Leading up to this milestone, she’ll be racing in key competitions, including the Huntsman Cup, Eldora Ski Cup, and Para Alpine Nationals. Weekly training at Palisades Tahoe, combined with her work with the National Ability Center in Park City, UT, has been instrumental in her progress, and Shelby credits the support of the High Fives Foundation for helping her pursue her goals.
