SWEETWATER CLIFTON AWARD WINNER RECOGNIZES HIGH FIVES

The New York Knicks were grateful and honored that Bruce Boyle accepted the Sweetwater Clifton Award at the Knicks basketball game vs. Dallas Mavericks last week

Screen Shot 2014-12-19 at 3.19.37 PMThis month Bruce Boyle was chosen by members of the Knicks front office staff and was honored at center court of the Knicks game. He received a $2,000 donation in his name to a charity of his choice and chose to support $500.00 to the High Fives Foundation.

The Sweetwater Clifton “City Spirit” Award is named in honor of Nat “Sweetwater” Clifton, the first African-American to play for the Knicks. The award recognizes those who have made a significant difference in the lives of others. For the 10th consecutive season, the Knicks will honor unsung heroes in our community. This month Bruce was chosen by members of the Knicks front office staff and will be honored at center court of the Knicks game.
