Comp #1 was at his home mountain of Carinthia at Mount Snow on January 10th. Griff joined the Breaker age group this year, and with 17 competitors in his group, he was stoked to take home 1st place.

February 1st took him to Loon, New Hampshire where Griff competed as a guest to the New Hampshire Series. Getting to hang out with his buddy Tim McCall (another High Fives Ambassador!) was the best part of the weekend for him. He competed in their Slopestyle event, and came home with another 1st place.

With 11 competitors, Griff took 2nd place to the current undefeated boardercross racer…and good friend!Big weekend for Griff for February 21 and 22! He competed at Okemo Mtn with a Slopestyle event on Saturday, followed by a Halfpipe event on Sunday. He took 1st place for both events, and had the high score of the day, for both days, across all age groups. Sunday’shalfpipe run was a personal best for Griff, landing some new tricks he’s been working hard at. Screen shot 2015-03-06 at 11.29.16 AMThis coming weekend, he plans to compete in his final local competition with another Halfpipe at Okemo. Then, it’s a few more weeks of training before heading to the USASA National Championships at Copper Mtn, Colorado.
