Dine, Shop, Stay, Play!
During the past three months The Truckee Downtown Merchants Association (TDMA) and the High Fives Foundation raised $2,519.00 by selling raffle tickets at Truckee Thursdays. Per the prior agreement to split the proceeds 50/50, each organization has received $1,259.50 in donations. The proceeds cover 3 months of out of pocket therapy sessions for one #highfivesathlete!
The TDMA is a nonprofit association of local businesses in Truckee working for the economic, social, cultural and environmental vitality of Historic Downtown Truckee. The goals of the organization are ||
- Create a beautiful and vibrant downtown that sustains business and the community.
- Enhance the community’s perception of downtown.
- Increase annual revenue by 10%
Truckee Thursdays is an 11-week outdoor Thursday evening event held during June, July and August put on by the TDMA. Activities include a certified organic Farmers’ Market, live music, arts and crafts vendors, beer garden, sidewalk sales, outdoor dining, family/children’s activities and raffles.
