#HIGHFIVESATHLETE Nate White ACHIEVED His ARCADE BELTS GOAL of skiing with outriggers!
“A year and a half ago I wasn’t sure I was even going to walk again,” said #HighFivesAthlete Nate White. “Getting back on skis this past winter with outriggers was a truly liberating feeling. Although there was frustration at times, there was such joy in being able to glide on my own again!”
This year the High Fives Foundation hosted the annual Retro Shred-a-Thon at Copper Mountain Resort in Colorado on April 15th. Nate White accomplished his goal of skiing with outriggers at the event. He accomplished his goal in grand fashion along side fellow High Fives Athlete Jim Harris and an excited group of event participants. He plans to frequent Summit County for ski trips on a more frequent basis next year.
