HIGH FIVE #HIGHFIVESATHLETE Rosa Malloy-Post FOR ACHIEVING her first oF FIVE ARCADE BELT GOALS!
On February 1st, 2018, #HighFivesAthlete Rosa Malloy-Post accomplished her goal of skiing at the daunting Wyoming ski resort Jackson Hole. In September 2017, Rosa was awarded a board-approved grant from the High Fives Foundation for an Enabling Technologies KBG Lynx Monoski. Since receiving the ski, Rosa’s skiing has progressed exponentially. While the trails at Jackson Hole have seen a number of mono-skiers over the years, few have navigated the tough terrain with the grace and technique that Rosa brought to the resort.
“With my new ski I can ski anything: pow, bumps, steeps, even ponds,” exclaimed Rosa. “I’m excited for more adventures, hopefully international, and excited to ski with High Fives!”
Rosa was involved in a rock climbing fall in May 2013 in Indian Creek, UT. The 40-foot fall left Rosa paralyzed from the waist down.
