High Fives to Griffin MacFadyen for continuing to support the Foundation through his the Winter Action Sports Ambassador Pledge Program, known as “Griff’s Pledge”!

Here’s an update from High Fives Ambassador Griffin MacFadyen’s mother: “Great week for Griffin….and for High Fives! He had two Boardercross races this weekend at Stratton, and took 1st in both events. Having awesome weather (cold, but sunny) for both the competitors and spectators was an added bonus. In addition, he had 4 new pledges come in along with 2 flat donations, so we have several friends to welcome to the weekly updates this week!
In an attempt to take you on Griffin’s race through the Boardercross course, he mounted a GoPro camera to his board. Sadly, the vibration and flexing of the board won, and the camera was tossed off on the first corner. (The camera was retrieved….and in one piece!) Here is the link to a very brief video. This is an actual heat race, with 3 other competitors. Griff came out of the gate in front, so the others are not visible as they are behind him.”
“Even though these race events consume most of the day, Griff and his racing buddies always find some time to take a few fun laps around the mountain….and finish up the day with chocolate waffles. I think it’s a race to see who eats theirs the fastest.
