#HighFivesAthlete Bond Camp was backcountry skiing south of Breckenridge in an area called Crystal Lakes. While skiing one of his best lines of the season, Bond caught an edge causing him to spin and slam onto his back. The impact led to T2 and T3 fractures causing paralysis from the nipples down. The crash also led to a broken left scapula, three broken ribs, and a punctured left lung.

The High Fives Foundation would like to congratulate Bond on his new Explorer III Off-Road Handcycle!

  1. Happy trails to Bond as he’ll be unstoppable on his new off-road bike!
Thanks, High Fives, for all that you do for these athletes. Your support provides the gear and the opportunity for these men and woman to get to where they need to be for rehab and to return to activities they sometimes believed were unattainable.

  2. High Five you rock. I knew nothing about your organization until Bond. What you have provided Bond has been amazing and definitely allowing him to advance. His progress and determination is amazing.
