Fuel for the fight.

Feed Our Heroes & Rounds 4 Heroes is an organized effort to bring fresh food each day to frontline workers at local health systems. The real heroes in the fight against COVID-19 are the ones putting themselves in harm’s way to protect us, treat us and keep us safe.

As our front-line protectors, they are the ones coming in contact with our most critically ill and at-risk.  Because of this, they are working around the clock, avoiding grocery stores and avoiding take-out. This is where we can help!

The Rounds 4 Heroes and Feed Our Heroes collaborative project is affiliated with High Fives Foundation, a Truckee-based, national 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization.

First of all, thank you!

We understand just how critical it is to support the frontline and healthcare heroes throughout the entirety of the pandemic.

We want to highlight the impact of Feed Our Heroes + Rounds 4 Heroes (R4H+FOH) in the community:

  • During the peak of the national emergency, over 26,446 meals delivered to local hospitals and testing centers including Renown Regional Medical Center (RRMC), Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center (STM), Northern Nevada Medical Center (NNMC), Renown South Meadows Medical Center (SMMC), VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System (VASN), and Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center (CTRMC).
  • Nearly 1,600 first responders (REMSA, Fire Fighters, Police Officers) received complimentary meals during the height of the pandemic.
  • Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows (BGCTM) opened its doors to give childcare to essential community members, including frontline workers. R4H + FOH donations helped supply diapers, food, and other critical items to over 1,000 families served by BGCTM.
  • In collaboration with R4H + FOH, 28 local restaurants made a positive impact in the community and also provided much-needed jobs.
