Joey Logano Foundation x High Fives Foundation | Partnership Since 2014

Start your engines! $53,000 represents 3 years of partnership and giving back!

Joey Logano Foundation Presents a Donation to High Fives Foundation at the Savemart 350 this weekend. Thank you JLF for your continued support in injured mountain action sports athletes!

At the 2017 Savemart 350 in Sonoma, Joey Logano presented the High Fives Foundation with a check for $5,000, bringing the Joey Logano Foundation’s contribution total to $53,000 over three years of commitment to supporting HFF’s work. High Fives Foundation founder Roy Tuscany accepted the generous gift in the GoPro Suite at Sonoma Raceway.

The Joey Logano Foundation inspires and assembles the NASCAR community to assist children and young adults in need during times of crisis. Their dedication to providing relief for those in unforeseen circumstances makes them an ideal partner for the High Fives Foundation, which supports mountain action sport athletes who suffer life-altering injuries. Over the past three years, JLF has offered High Fives donations and once-in-lifetime memories, such as inviting athletes to join professional NASCAR drivers on the go-kart track.

Contributions from the Joey Logano Foundation go towards the High Fives Empowerment Fund, which has benefited several young athletes. Among them are Tim Burr (Glenwood Springs, Colo.), Max Elles (Bridgewater Corners, Vt.), Landon McGauley (British Columbia, Can.), Taylor Fiddyment (Truckee, Calif.), Luke Eckenberg (Temperence, Mich.) and Nolan Trowe (Truckee, Calif.). After suffering life-altering injuries while enjoying their favorite outdoor sports, these athletes found support from High Fives in covering the cost of a range of therapeutic services, such as acupuncture, massage and physical therapy, in addition to providing adaptive ski gear to get them back on the mountains they love.

GoPro facilitated the relationship between the Joey Logano Foundation and High Fives, acting as a sponsor to Logano and connecting him to High Fives as a non-profit partner in the Sonoma area that operates with a parallel mission and values. The groups plan to continue working together to benefit the recovery of young athletes.
