On Friday, February 7th at Riverside Studios in downtown Truckee will host the 3rd Annual Lion Heart Art Show – a fundraiser for the CR Johnson Healing Center.
The show will feature local artists using 12”x12” panels of wood to create masterpieces in any medium. From 4:00pm to 8:00pm on the evening of February 7th, during the downtown Truckee event “First Friday” all of the art will be displayed on the walls of Riverside Studios and available for purchase for $100.00 per panel on a first come first serve basis.
A portion of each panel sold will benefit the CR Johnson Healing Center – a program service of the High Fives Foundation that provides resources for athletes in recovery from sport related injuries. Resources include: physical therapy, pilates, massage, personal training and more. Along with the art being displayed, the Lion Heart Art Show will feature beats from 101.5 FM Truckee Tahoe Radio’s own DJ Treez along with drinks and refreshments.
“The Lion Heart Art Show is one of our favorite events of the year,” said Kahlil Johnson, Co-Owner of Riverside Studios in downtown Truckee. “It is such a great and fun way to gather the Truckee-Tahoe Community to celebrate amazing art, while raising money for a cause that is near and dear to all of us– the CR Johnson Healing Center.”
