The trailer was released at Comic-Con in July. While “Batkid” has saved the day in the film, he has really “saved” the town of San Francisco and the world by capturing the hearts of both internet fans and local San Francisco neighbors. The documentary is on a fundraising website called IndieGogo and still with 21 days left of the fundraiser, the documentary has already raised more than half of its $100,000 goal!
All of the fundraising from the documentary will go to the Batkid Fund which will support local San Francisco charities.
