The Rubber Ducky Backflip-Off
Co-created by ON3p Skier and close friend to the late Timy Dutton, Josh Anderson, the Rubber Ducky Backflip-Off will take place on Friday, June 6th at the Beartooth Summer Session! (crowdrise.com/TheRubberDuckyBackflip-off)
“The Rubber Ducky | Timy Dutton, was always having the most fun, and the Bearooth Summer Session is one of the best and truest ski events I’ve attended in years. This year’s event, put on at Beartooth Basin Ski Area by ON3P Skis, promises to live up to and surpass the awesome times of years past. In honor of a kid who was always into an adventure and loved to throw some bick ol’ laid out backflips, we bring you the 2014 Rubber Ducky Backflip-Off, a charitable contest through the High Fives Non-Profit Organization. High Fives runs a youth training program for ski and backcountry safety called B.A.S.I.C.S., for whom Timy was a primary coach and inspiration.”
(See more here):
“The contest will consist of a one hour, filmed session on the main jump at Beartooth Basin. Backflips will be counted in an effort to see 150 in that hour! Participants will have the opportunity to win gear from Strafe Outerwear and some of Timy’s favorite skis from LIBtech NAS, in addition to the massive pile of shwag amassed by ON3P’s Sam Caylor for the event. Donations can be made to High Fives in Timy’s name through a Crowdrise.com site created for the event. Join the fundraising team and spread the word to friends, or simply make a lump sum donation. If 150 people each donate $10, a Hamilton per backflip, we can raise $1500 for B.A.S.I.C.S. and the Dutton family.” – Josh Anderson
