HIGH FIVES FOUNDATION SILVER TIE GALA POSTPONED DUE TO COVID-19
High Fives Foundation postpones annual fundraiser until November 2020
RENO, NV (March. 25, 2020) – In accordance with the guidelines of the CDC to cancel events of 50 or more people, High Fives Foundation has come to the conclusion to postpone the May 2nd Silver Tie Gala fundraiser due to the challenges posed to our community by the COVID-19 virus. It comes with heavy hearts to make this decision to delay this long-standing event but we are following our local & national leadership’s recommendations to ensure the safety of our staff, our supporters, and the Ohana of the Foundations’ well being is essential.
We are working to secure a final date with our venue and partner, Dolan Lexus for the month of November but for the time being, we regret to say, that we will not be celebrating together on Saturday, May 2. The postponement of the event will make a considerable financial impact to the program services of the Foundation and your continued support will be crucial and impactful for the coming months. As we weather the storm together, we look forward to celebrating with you again in November.
Once we confirm the new Saturday date in the month of November, we will reach back out with more details on the evening and the sponsorship for the Silver Tie Gala. If you would like to touch base, shoot me an email directly, roy@highfivesfoundation.com or via phone, (802) 522-9838
