The Adaptive Virtual Snowboard is an accessory which interfaces to a Nintendo Wii console and allows you to play Snowboarding, skateboard and Wakeboard games while giving your body proper exercise!

This is a fun activity for able bodied and those with lower limb or spinal problems.

“What we’ve done is make a custom snowboard that is inherently unstable and then added a control pod which allows you to use a Nintendo Wii™ controller to play all the available snowboarding, skateboarding, wakeboarding, surfing games. We also provide a wireless hand control to press the buttons so that you can do the tricks on offer. What this does, of course, is turn the whole process of balancing exercises into a self-competitive process as you accumulate your scores down different slopes and increase your level of tricks. You can even compete against friends and family.”
