High Five, Access Unlimited – providing adaptive outdoor Adventures for those with Disabilities!
MISSION STATEMENT
Access Unlimited is dedicated to ensuring that through fishing and the great outdoors, ones’ individualism is maintained after sustaining a life altering injury or physical disability.
About
Their story began in 2008, when Jess Alberi sustained a life altering spinal cord injury while elk hunting in the mountains in Montana. Jess has overcome his disability through a positive mindset largely attributed to continuing to participate in outdoor activities.
In 2014, while floating the Big Hole River, Jess and one of his closest friends, Steve Miller, founder of SCS Unlimited and SCS Wraps discussed their passion for fishing and their desire to make a difference in others’ lives. It was at that moment that the concept of Access Unlimited was born. Overcome by inspiration during a fishing trip with Jess and Steve, Adam Yinger, a close friend, joined the team and the non profit organization was founded.
Access Unlimited strives to empower people to feel less restricted by their disability so they can enjoy new adventures. We provide countless options to ensure your trip is just right for you. Something magical happens when fishing one of Southwest Montana’s “Blue Ribbon” trout waters. You can’t help but feel free while floating on the pristine waters of the Beaverhead, Big Hole, Jefferson, and Madison rivers, or working your way up one of our many spring creeks and private fisheries.
We’ve combined forces with some of the most seasoned guides of Southwest Montana to ensure that each trip is overseen with the wisdom and know-how to net fish, while providing the needed safety assurance. We are handicap accessible and vow to customize a trip for you and your party that will not only create a fond memory, but more importantly create an opportunity to depart from the things that hinder you as you float through some of the most beautiful scenery this country has to offer.
