The waves of Oceanside came alive as athletes from around the world gathered for the 8th Annual U.S. Open Adaptive Surfing Championships. High Fives Foundation was proud to support and cheer on the incredible athletes who showcased resilience, talent, and pure joy in the water.
This year’s event highlights included:
- 15 High Fives Athletes competing across multiple divisions
- 5 Watermen supporting athletes in and out of the lineup
- Countless rides, smiles, and High Fives shared on the beach and in the surf
From sunrise paddle-outs to sunset celebrations, the event was filled with moments that reminded us why adaptive sports matter…they create access, inspire community, and prove that there are no limits when passion meets perseverance.
We are proud to have stood alongside athletes, families, coaches, and supporters in Oceanside. Every competitor brought their best to the waves, pushing boundaries and raising the bar for adaptive surfing worldwide.
