This past weekend, skiers from across the continent gathered at the Riverwalk Center in Breckenridge to kick off winter at the 18th Annual Powder Awards and recognize the top achievements in skiing and ski movies. Olympian Jonny Moseley & High Fives Ambassador, hosted the awards show for the first time.

The Powder Awards not only recognizes the best in film, but also the best in photography. Ming T. Poon, a photographer from Lake Tahoe, California, won Photo of the Year for a frame caught at sunrise above an inversion with skier Cody Townsend. High Fives Founder Roy Tuscany followed Poon on stage to auction off two framed prints, for $2,401, matched by Titos Vodka, a sponsor of the Powder Awards.
