EZRA MCPHAIL | #HIGHFIVESATHLETE TO RECEIVE GRANT FUNDING

High Fives Foundation to provide Ezra McPhail with $8,629.25 for adaptive monoski equipment.

In December 2011 young Ezra was playing hockey in hopes of receiving a college scholarship. During a game Ezra was checked into the boards by an opponent who was ducked down to one knee. The contact resulted in Ezra going head first into the boards, breaking his back at T5/6 causing partial paralysis.

We had the opportunity to ski with Ezra in January and it was an AMAZING experience. Ezra was much more experienced then we realized from his original application that we received in June. Please review the attached letter of recommendation from Bill Bowness to extend winter funding for Ezra, as he needs new equipment to take his skiing to the next level, which could easily be the Paralympics in 2018.891602_10151423158548153_531806882_o
