Happy Birthday to High Fives Athlete, Jeff Andrews!
In March of this year Tahoe native Jeff Andrews suffered a C6 burst fracture with associated spinal cord injury at Sugar Bowl Resort in Norden, CA. In April 2014 Jeff received a Board approved grant for $1,363.41 to be used toward massage and acupuncture at Craig Hospital (Englewood, CO) and a 6 month supply of healing supplements – all items not covered by his insurance carrier.
Jeff’s goal is to become as independent as his condition will permit, is well underway as he has been working hard at Craig Hospital in Englewood, CO since April.
Tomorrow (June 14, 2014) marks Jeff’s 26th birthday, and the High Fives Foundation couldn’t be more proud of the work ethic and positive attitude that Jeff has shown since his March injury.
