3,500 Mile Bike Ride Benefitting High Fives Foundation

In June of 2019, Price Burlington will begin a 3,500 mile bike ride across the country beginning in San Ramon, CA. and ending in Newtown Square, PA. This trying task will benefit the High Fives Non-Profit Foundation in honor of loved one, Carson Burlington. Burlington hopes to raise $50,000 for High Fives in pledged donations during his journey.
Burlington tragically lost his son, Carson, to a car accident in 2017. Following this enormous loss, Burlington and his family established, “Team Carson,” a memorial fund to honor Carson and keep his spirit alive. Team Carson works side by side the High Fives Foundation to host an annual day of skiing in Carson’s name, while raising awareness and support for those living with a life-altering injury. High Fives Across America is yet another amazing way for Burlington to honor his late son,
For me this is a bicycle journey across the United States in honor of my late son, and for adaptive athletes that have been impacted by life-altering injuries. It also forms the tapestry for a larger story of overcoming and triumphing in the midst of multiple life challenges, like anxiety disorder, family member addictions, and the sudden loss of my first born son at the age of 29.Price Burlington
With family in a branded RV in tow and support from Orin Swift, Yakima, Tahoe Trail Bar, SMITH Optics, Real Graphic and Darn Tough Socks, Burlington will take on this incredible challenge to show others that with remarkable tragedy, comes remarkable strength.
