(Truckee, Calif., September 15, 2016) – California Non Profit the High Fives Foundation is continuing its support of Haiku resident, Bond Camp, through an Empowerment Grant that will send him to world renown Maui healer, Alejandra Monslave at Body Wellness Hawaii.
In 2015, Camp, 31, was backcountry skiing in Breckenridge, Colorado near where he lived at the time. It was his best day of the year, he said. But he caught an edit causing him to spin and slam onto his back. The impact led to T2/3 fractures and paralysis from the chest down. The crash also led to a broken left scapula, three broken ribs, and a punctured left lung.
