In Vermont’s Green Mountains lies Mad River Glen—a skier’s haven with old-world charm. For the High Fives Foundation crew, it was more than a ski trip. It was an opportunity to return home to cherished traditions and camaraderie.
With their tickets on wickets, ski camp attendees rode up Mad River Glen’s single chair lift—the only one of its kind in the lower 48, making for a peaceful moment of solitude before hitting the slopes. This fun-loving crew glided down groomers with views that highlight the rustic allure of this resort celebrating 75 years since establishment.
Lunch break called for a piping hot bowl of French onion soup from General Stark’s Pub—arguably the best French onion in the country, per High Fives’ Maddie Lowe. You’ll have to go try it for yourself to be the judge of that!
As always, we’re so grateful to our community for making these memorable moments possible for High Fives athletes near and far. Thank you and high five!
