Dario received a grant for $6,000 to be used toward valuable personal training sessions at the acclaimed Pleasanton, CA facility, SCI-Fit.
Dario suffered a spinal cord injury while snowboarding at Squaw Valley on January 10, 2018. He suffered a cervical spinal cord injury, and was flown to Renown Medical Center where he underwent surgery. He then went to Craig Hospital, and now, he and his family, are figuring out the best facility for the future.
Dario’s goal is to put himself in an environment that will allow him to grow and use his mobility as much as possible. He plans to gain strength, stay positive and be successful in everything he does.
Dario is an incredibly focused young man, and we are honored to have him working on his recovery at our facility.
Dan Dumas, Executive Director of SCI-Fit, only had great things to say about Dario’s commitment to his recovery
